These light weight caliper are easy to use and perfect for applications where standard metal calipers might damage the measured objects such as collectible coins, wood furniture, antiques, gems, glass, plastic, antiquarian books, documents, x-rays, biological and botanical specimens , it also use to measure the battery terminal without short circuit.
You will not be able to autoclave these but alcohol can be used to disinfect the measuring jaws. (These are not water-proof gages. Keep all liquids away from the digital display unit.)
Sizes larger than 150mm are not available. They are not designed for connection to computers. As with all plastic calipers, accuracy is limited. This model will be accurate to 0.1 mm (about .004"). Repairs will not be possible
